The New Kids on the Block: DePIN and AI

The rising momentum of both DePIN and Crypto x AI over the last year and a half continued in Singapore.

AI had over 119 related side events, and DePIN had at least 60 dedicated side events throughout the week. With such a high volume of events, we saw event themes reach a striking granularity from Decentralized Energy to DePIN x AI to DePIN in Asia. The highest-level takeaway is that a lot is happening in these sectors. From innovation in DeWi protocols to intensifying efforts in executing the promise of decentralized GPU compute networks, it’s clear that the industry is hard at work. DePIN and Crypto x AI are tackling problems across the board in both Traditional Physical Infrastructure (TradPi) and Web2.
