The purpose of Unibright is to leverage the potential of Blockchain technology for real-world businesses. It will provide a unified framework for blockchain-based business integration. Basically, it will help companies to use blockchain technology for their business by reducing technical barriers, costs. It will help the businesses to visually design enterprise-level business workflow which will let companies generate and launch smart contracts without any coding skillset.

History

Unibright.io was started by Marten Jung and Schmidt in 2017 and conducted its ICO on 3rd May 2018 raising $13.5 million at a base price of $0.14 per token.

In the last three years, Unibright has attended multiple Hackathons across different industries. Few of this Hackathons were with Microsoft Germany, Zuhlke, Deutsche Bahn Vertrieb, NEM, European Space Agency and others. Unibright has also launched Freequity Liquidity Concepts and will be developing Baseline Protocol. Baseline Protocol is an open-source initiative by EY, ConsenSys and Microsoft that combines advances in cryptography, messaging, and blockchain to deliver secure and private business processes at low cost via the public Ethereum Mainnet.

Unibright use cases would include a multi-party approval system, asset life cycle management, product pass approval, shipping process monitoring and resource tracking during production processes.
