Lagoon provides vault infrastructure: vaults on Lagoon are run by third-party curators. Depositors put an asset in a vault and the curator puts it to work in a strategy. What the strategy earns before fees is the vault's gross yield. Fees come out of it: the curator charges a management fee on the assets in the vault and a performance fee on its yield, and Lagoon charges a platform fee, recorded from October 2025. What is left is the net yield earned by depositors. The platform fee is Lagoon's protocol revenue.
Fees are recognized when they are settled onchain. Net yield is derived from vault share prices and is net of losses, so a vault that loses value, or whose assets leave the vault, has negative yield. Vaults whose latest status is corrupted or deprecated are excluded.
The model has no operating costs, incentives or treasury data, so net income equals protocol revenue and the tab has no cash flow statement or balance sheet. The source does not name each vault's curator, so curator fees are shown in total. Ethereum holds most deposits; Lagoon vaults also run on Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, BNB, HyperEVM, Plasma and other chains.
