About

JustLend DAO is a decentralized money market on TRON where users supply TRX and TRC-20 assets to earn interest and borrow against posted collateral. The protocol also offers sTRX, a liquid staking token for TRX, and an Energy Rental market that lets users rent TRON network resources for less than it costs to stake or burn TRX. JST is the governance token, and since October 2025 the DAO has used protocol net income to buy back and burn JST each quarter.

History

JustLend launched on TRON in December 2020 as a Compound-style money market within the JUST ecosystem, which the JUST Foundation introduced earlier that year alongside the JST token and the JustStable stablecoin platform. JST holders govern protocol parameters through on-chain proposals executed via GovernorBravo and Timelock contracts. The protocol added sTRX liquid staking and Energy Rental in April 2023 following TRON's Stake 2.0 upgrade. In October 2025 the community approved a proposal directing all JustLend DAO net income, plus USDD multichain revenue above $10 million, to quarterly JST buybacks and burns. In June 2026 JustLend DAO launched Supply and Borrow Market V2, which replaced shared liquidity pools with isolated collateral markets supplied by asset-specific vaults and priced by an adaptive interest rate model.
