edgeX is a decentralized exchange offering perpetual futures and spot trading. The platform uses a central limit order book and margin system, with trades validated via StarkEx Layer 2 and settled on Ethereum while users retain asset self-custody. It provides web/mobile access and API/WebSocket endpoints for programmatic trading and market data. edgeX also publishes the EDGE Stack design for an app-specific execution layer for on-chain derivatives, using a modular multi-VM architecture and deterministic parallel transaction execution.
