Originally, 50,000,000 DYDX tokens were allocated to the community treasury with and 766,703 DYDX tokens vesting over each epoch. The 24,690,803 DYDX tokens that went unclaimed from the Retroactive Rewards period were transferred to the treasury after epoch 0 on August 31, 2021. Various DIPs resulted in a 3,020,548 per epoch increase to the treasury. As of August 3, 2023, 3,787,251 DYDX tokens vest in the community treasury each epoch. This brings the total allocation amount to 219,194,788 DYDX.

Community and Rewards Treasuries are combined into a single treasury category. Assumes changes occur at the beginning of the respective epoch.

On October 5, 2022, the community approved DIP 16 to reduce the trading rewards per epoch from 3,835,616 DYDX tokens to 2,876,712 DYDX tokens. The excess 958,904 DYDX per epoch now accrues to the treasury. On March 15, 2023, the community approved DIP 20 to reduce the trading rewards per epoch from 2,876,712 DYDX tokens to 1,582,192 DYDX tokens. The excess 1,294,520 DYDX per epoch now accrues to the treasury. The DIPs decreased the total allocation amount for this category from 250,000,000 DYDX tokens to 144,693,506 DYDX tokens.

Assumes token changes occurred at the beginning of the epoch in which change took place. Token emissions were reduced during the final epoch to account for differences in the stated allocated supply versus the total estimated tokens released.

This change decreased the total allocation amount for this category from 75,000,000 DYDX tokens to 52,458,925 DYDX tokens. The excess 575,342 DYDX per epoch now accrues to the treasury.

Fully unlocked at token genesis. Tokens were distributed to past users of any dYdX protocol who completed certain trading milestones. The retroactive claim window ended after epoch 0 with 24,690,803 DYDX tokens remaining unclaimed. These tokens were transferred to the treasury and reduced the overall category allocation to from 75,000,000 DYDX tokens to 50,309,197 DYDX tokens.

Distributed on a 28-day epoch basis over five years and are not subject to any vesting or lockups. On September 29, 2022, the community approved DIP 14 to remove rewards for the Liquidity Staking Pool. The 383,562 DYDX tokens per epoch now accrues to the treasury. This change decreased the total allocation amount for this category from 25,000,000 DYDX tokens to 5,753,430 DYDX tokens.

On November 28, 2022, the community approved DIP 17 to set the rewards associated with staking DYDX in the Safety Staking Pool to 0. This change decreased the total allocation amount for this category from 25,000,000 DYDX tokens to 5,049,079 DYDX tokens. Since this date, the 383,562 DYDX per epoch accrues to the treasury.
