Digix Global is an Ethereum token that aims to democratize access to gold by pegging token values to ounces of gold.

History

Digix Global is a token project built on Ethereum to introduce a gold-pegged digital asset with provable and auditable phsyical asset reserves. Digix's digital assets are stored in the project's Aegis Vault cold storage custodial wallets. The project also supports a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that supports a native governance token: DGD.
