Gross Profit is calculated as Net Revenue (Total Fees/Revenue Collected - Total Repurchase/Gacha Buybacks) - Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) - Secondary Marketplace Repurchase Cost
COGS refers to cards redeemed and burned that originally came from the Gachapon machine. These costs are recognized only on day of redemption(NFT burn). If a user decides to keep a card, it is not recognized in Gross Profit until that card is later burned or redeemed.
The COGS will be 85% of the cards insured value which represents CC's approximate procurement cost.
Under CC's native secondary marketplace, users can submit a sell request to Collector Crypt. CC will provide a purchase offer, which users can choose to accept or decline. This option provides instant liquidity for users that want to sell directly in the secondary marketplace. This was launched together with CC native secondary marketplace on April 30 2026.
Collector Crypt (CC) generates revenue primarily through the following streams below:
Players purchase Gachapon packs for a chance to win high-value TCG cards, with 72 hours to sell back the drawn card to CC at a % of insured value depending on the machine. This figure includes packs opened from partners using CC API across all chains : Solana + EVM (Slabz, Comicbook, Gacha Sports, ME, Solflare, Rosentica etc)
Users can bid on eBay auctions via CC’s in-house sniper. A 1% fee is charged on winning bids.
All secondary marketplace trades incur a 2% royalty fee.
A 3% fee is charged when users redeem collectibles, inclusive of shipping and insurance in the past. This has since been changed to a flat fee now.
Includes revenue from external non gachapon project collaboration - eg Moonbirds Collectible falls under this category. Gacha partnership revenue is classified under Gacha Packs and not Launchpad.
