435,000 tokens distributed at token genesis to initial liquidity providers. At launch, 145,000 tokens were unlocked per week until April 7, 2022 when governance changed the liquidity mining unlock schedule. Following the April 7, 2022 goverance change, token emissions would decrease each year such that the emissions rate would be halved every four years.

2,500,000 tokens reserved as options for Balancer Labs employees. Of the 22,500,000 tokens allocated to the team, advisors, and investors, 25% are unlocked at genesis and 75% are vested linearly over three years.
