L2 Blockchains

Methodology

Network Revenue is each chain's attributed operating revenue: user-paid transaction fees plus non-fee income earned by the chain. Revenue shared between chains is credited once, to the chain that ultimately receives it, and deducted from the chain that pays it.

Network REV (Real Economic Value) is user-paid transaction fees only, before any revenue-share attribution or non-fee income.

L1 Operator Payments are the Ethereum posting, blob and settlement costs a chain pays to publish its data and settle state. Gross Profit Margin is Network Revenue less L1 Operator Payments, divided by Network Revenue, on a rolling 30-day basis.

Chains without L1 cost data appear in revenue only. Other groups smaller chains. Forecast columns are a run-rate of the period to date.
