🏆 Zilliqa mainnet: The launch and beyond

The long awaited Zilliqa ($ZIL) mainnet launched today, Jan. 31, 2018, becoming the first public blockchain with sharding, a method of organizing nodes to increase scalability. Over the next few months, the project will focus on swapping the ERC-20 ZIL token over to the ZIL native token though 11 crypto exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, and Gate.io. Compatible wallets are also rolling out, such as the Ledger Companion, Moonlet, and Midas Protocol. The third wave of the #BuildonZIL Ecosystem Grant Programme, to encourage development on Zilliqa, is now open as well.
