Waves releases its programming language RIDE to support full dapp development

Blockchain ecosystem Waves ($WAVES) has released its purposed programming language RIDE on mainnet, touting itself as a user-friendly alternative to Ethereum ($ETH), EOS ($EOS), and Tron ($TRX). "For blockchain developers, this means a cheaper and more convenient coding process than ever before," says Waves CEO and founder Alexander Ivanov, "while those from outside the blockchain segment will see the entry threshold substantially lowered and new opportunities arrive." To date, 500 users have conducted 40,000-50,000 transactions on Waves' testnet which the team expects to grow between 30-50% upon mainnet launch.
