Tron patched a critical DDoS bug that could have crashed the entire network

A security researcher flagged a critical bug in Tron ($TRX) in January 2019 that would have allowed a successful Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack that could have crashed the entire network, The Next Web reports. The bug would have allowed all of the network‘s available memory to be use by a single party and effectively break the blockchain during the attack. The researcher was paid a $1,500 bounty for their efforts.
