Tron Co-founder and CTO is leaving to start a competing network
Lucien Chen, the former CTO and co-founder of Tron, is leaving the project to "rebuild a new Tron," according to an announcement posted to Medium. Chen's new project is called Volume Network, and his reason for leaving is "very simple." Chen writes, "As a technical man, I feel very sad that the TRON has departed from the faith of 'decentralize the web.'" Volume Network, according to Chen, plans to "return to the spirit of the blockchain."
