👩‍⚖️ Top lawyer departs Ripple

According to a company spokesperson Brynly Llyr, Ripple's general counsel has left the firm. Llyr had served in the role since joining the firm in Nov. 2016. Earlier this year the firm hired Mary Jo White, the former chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), to help oversee multiple lawsuits aimed at classifying Ripple's XRP ($XRP) as a security.
