🚂 Steemit back online after unidentified outage
Blockchain-based social media and publishing platform Steemit is back online after a nine-hour outage on Monday. Earlier reports linked the downtime, which saw errors on user-facing sites as well as the blockchain, to an upcoming hard fork in the network. Steem ($STEEM) representatives clarified that while the reason for the issue was unknown they were not related to the fork and there were no issues with lost funds.
