Secret Network Joins the Messari Registry

We’re excited to announce that Secret Network has joined the Messari Registry. As a participating project, the Secret Network team has committed to transparency by providing regular project updates.

Secret Network is a privacy-enabled layer-1 blockchain, providing data privacy for Web3 applications in order to solve for usability and security. Smart contracts deployed on Secret Network become "secret contracts," which utilize encrypted inputs, outputs, and state. Secret is built on Tendermint SDK and uses Delegated Proof of Stake consensus. Secret Network's native coin, SCRT, is used for transactional / computational fees, staking, and on-chain governance. Secret Tokens (programmable like ERC-20s, but private by design like Monero) can be issued on Secret Network. Secret Bridges (such as the Secret Ethereum Bridge) create interoperability with other public blockchain ecosystems. Secret's data privacy technologies enable new types of dApps across multiple fields, including decentralized finance, access control, NFTs, gaming, data sharing, and more.
