Report: Facebook plans to create independent foundation to manage its cryptocurrency; will charge members $10M licensing fees for right to operate node
Facebook is purportedly creating a foundation to run its GlobalCoin node network, charging interested companies or parties $10 million to run a node, according to The Information. The social media giant hopes to raise $1 billion in licensing fees from 100 planned nodes. Partnering organizations will also help run the foundation.
