Messari Corona Coverage & Resources

This is shaping up to be a trying time for our global society, and the US in particular.

Judging from the brutal market drawdown today (crypto and in general), I am clearly not alone in my disgust and disappointment with the President’s ineffective response to the crisis at hand and his weak-kneed performance last night during the most important moment of his presidency.

We clearly must look elsewhere for leadership when none is present at the top, and I can’t think of a better case study for why what we do in this industry is critical. The future does not need to be authoritarian. But in light of the catastrophic failures of our democratic institutions, crypto's success is more important than ever.

It's an ugly and fearful day today, but this too shall pass.
