Maximizing Profits with Raydium
Overview
Raydium is an AMM, a pool of liquidity bound by a constant function against which traders can swap assets to update prices. It is currently the largest decentralized exchange (DEX) on Solana.
Raydium offers two main services: 1) access to trading pools and 2) pool creation tools. Both services revolve around the same three pool types.
- Standard AMM (OpenBook) pools
Allow liquidity providers to provide liquidity for all trades within a pool passively. - CP-Swap (CPMM) pools
A newer standard AMM, which added support for Token-2022 assets and no longer required an OpenBook market ID. - Concentrated liquidity (CLMM) pools
Allow liquidity providers to select a specific price range at which liquidity is active for trades within a pool.
