Primer
Galxe is a Web3 growth and distribution platform that has evolved from a questing platform for onchain tasks and reward campaigns into an integrated infrastructure layer for user acquisition, engagement, and token distribution. It delivers this through a product suite that includes Quest for onchain campaigns and tasks, Earndrop for airdrop campaigns and large-scale token distributions, Starboard for contributor and social analytics, Passport for identity management, and Score for reputation. Galxe provides projects with a full-stack growth toolkit. The platform has over 36 million total users, 1 million daily active users (DAU), and more than 7,770 partner projects.
Gravity, Galxe’s EVM-compatible blockchain, is the execution layer that ties this growth stack together. Gravity Alpha Mainnet currently operates on an Arbitrum Nitro-based rollup architecture and is designed to handle high throughput. Gravity Alpha ranks in the top 10 amongst all blockchains, on Chainspect, delivering roughly 1.1-second blocks, 4,500 transactions per second, and hundreds of millions of cumulative transactions.
The Unified Growth Platform
Galxe Quest
In 2025, Galxe’s work around Quest focused on turning a collection of separate tools into a single, integrated growth platform. Quest now coordinates onboarding, education, testnet and mainnet activity, identity checks, and reward distribution from one place. Around it sit Earndrop for token distribution, Starboard for contributor and social analytics, Passport and Score for identity and reputation, Identity Protocol for ZK-enabled identity, and Gravity as the execution layer for Galxe’s product suite.
In 2025, Galxe Quests generated approximately 184 million quest participations, averaging 1.9 million unique participant addresses per month, with a peak of 2.6 million in June and a low of 1.3 million in December. This year, Galxe introduced zkRaffle, a zero-knowledge raffle primitive built with SP1, the zkVM developed by zero-knowledge research lab Succinct, which uses onchain randomness and proofs to make winner selection verifiable and tamper-resistant. zkRaffle combines Drand-based random beacons with SP1-generated proofs of raffle execution and Merkle proof–based winner verification to support auditable, crosschain reward draws. The inaugural zkRaffle Quest, with a 300,000 G prize pool, provided users with a guided experience of provably fair raffles embedded directly into the Galxe quest environment.
Earndrop
Launched in January 2025, Earndrop is Galxe’s token distribution platform that standardizes how projects run airdrops and token generation events (TGE). It integrates Galxe Passport and Score for Sybil resistance and eligibility filtering, supporting distribution across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Solana, Sui, Avalanche, Gravity Alpha Mainnet, 0G, and others. Projects can configure campaigns using CSV uploads or onchain snapshots as the eligibility source, define vesting and allocation rules, and either use standard Earndrop templates or deploy fully branded, white-label claim sites on top of Galxe’s infrastructure, as Sahara AI did with its Knowledge Drop microsite. In these white-label setups, Galxe handles eligibility checks, vesting logic, Sybil filtering, and settlement while the project controls the front-end experience. For users, Earndrop serves as a single token dashboard where they can log in, see all eligible airdrops across projects, and claim airdrops.
Earndrop is engineered to support high-traffic distribution events. It has been stress-tested to handle more than one million simultaneous claim attempts. Projects can build their own branded claim sites on top of Earndrop while relying on Galxe’s infrastructure for eligibility checks and settlements. The system supports Galxe Score-based Sybil and bot filtering, automated vesting for linear and cliff schedules, IP-based geo restrictions, and distribution to multiple networks from a single configuration.
Recent campaigns illustrate how Earndrop operates in practice:
Sahara AI: A full-stack AI-native blockchain platform focused on knowledge, data, and intelligence applications. It used Earndrop’s white-label service, vesting engine, and Sybil protection to run the “Knowledge Drop” airdrop.
Tanssi Network: A modular app-chain infrastructure provider that lets builders launch sovereign, Ethereum-secured chains backed by restaked economic security. It used Earndrop for a pre-TGE distribution of 40.5 million TANSSI tokens.
DeLorean Labs: A Web3 ecosystem project built around the DeLorean Brand. It utilized Earndrop to power the “Airdrop Race” campaign series, comprising eight quests, and distributed 37.5 million DMC in a gamified format.
Starboard
Starboard is Galxe’s data-driven growth and analytics platform, built to help projects identify, engage, and reward their most impactful contributors. It works with Quest and Earndrop, ingesting social content, engagement patterns, influence signals, and onchain activity to surface the accounts that create awareness, education, and usage for the project. Teams can design impact-based programs that target narrative shaping, developer evangelism, and long-term community building.
Offchain, Starboard tracks real-time social dynamics across a project’s ecosystem. The Aura Index serves as a project-level benchmark for overall awareness and influence across projects. The Aura Score provides a user-level influence metric that emphasizes who is engaging, with additional weight for key opinion leaders, funds, and other high-signal participants. AI-driven sentiment analysis monitors how narratives evolve over time, while Smart Posts surfaces content from the most impactful creators based on reach, relevance, and influence. Contributor profiles then highlight advocates whose behavior is consistently high-quality, allowing teams to distinguish between durable champions and those with short-lived or purely volume-driven activity.
Galxe Business+
Galxe Business+ packages the growth stack into paid subscription tiers for teams that want predictable, SaaS-style access to infrastructure, audiences, and data. In addition to the free Basic plan, projects can upgrade to Essentials, Growth, or Enterprise to unlock analytics, Sybil defenses, and support.
The plans map to different growth stages and use cases, so teams can choose the tier that best fits their growth model. Essentials is the entry point for projects that move beyond ad hoc campaigns, adding participant-level quest performance data, leaderboard views, and Sybil insights, so teams can see who completed which tasks, how rewards were claimed, and where bots may distort results. Growth targets ecosystems that are scaling quickly and need defensible metrics, layering in advanced Sybil prevention through Galxe’s bot identification system and X task verification, along with deeper social and contributor analytics via Starboard. Enterprise is built for large chains and enterprise-style partners, providing multiple Starboards, expanded API access, higher rate limits, gas-credit subsidies, and dedicated support. Teams can use the Enterprise dashboard as a command center to design multichain quests, coordinate Earndrop distributions, review bot-filtered funnels, and track contributor impact across their ecosystem.
Platform Activations Across the Protocol Lifecycle
Phase 1: Awareness and Community Growth
In the earliest stages of a protocol, teams need to build visibility around their product, explain their narrative, and attract real early adopters without a live token. Galxe supports this phase through Quest campaigns that span X, Discord, and Telegram, as well as simple onchain actions such as wallet creation and bridging. Passport and Score filter out bots and Sybil activity, so early communities are composed of high-intent users rather than bots. Arbitrum, an Ethereum Layer-2 rollup, illustrates this pattern through its Odyssey campaign. Weekly quests guided users through tasks across ecosystem projects such as DeFi protocols and infrastructure partners, engaging over 623,000 unique users and leading to 1.7 million NFTs minted. These credentials provided Arbitrum and participating applications with a clear view of who had actually completed the key onboarding steps.
Phase 2: Testnet and Developer Activation
As projects move into devnet and testnet, the priority shifts from awareness to infrastructure validation and developer engagement. Galxe allows teams to structure quests around specific technical actions, including interacting with smart contracts, providing liquidity, testing applications, and participating in governance. Passport and Score continue to enforce Sybil resistance, so testnet metrics reflect real usage. Linea, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, launched its Voyage campaign, utilizing this model to attract 5.6 million wallets across 50 applications. It generated approximately 50 million testnet transactions and had 800,000 Sybil-prevention credential claims, providing Linea and its ecosystem with a high-signal test environment.
Phase 3: Mainnet, TGE, and Long-Term Ecosystem Growth
At mainnet and TGE, teams need to reward contributors and early users at scale while managing load, Sybil risk, and distribution complexity. Galxe connects contribution and identity data from earlier phases directly into Earndrop, which executes large-scale token distributions using Passport and Score for eligibility filtering. Solayer, a restaking-focused infrastructure protocol, demonstrates this setup in practice through its LAYER airdrop. The team ran its own branded airdrop site on top of Earndrop, while Galxe’s infrastructure handled traffic during TGE, enforced contribution criteria, and processed claims at scale, allowing Solayer to focus on distribution logic rather than operational risk.
After launch, growth becomes a primary concern for teams. At this stage, Starboard and Quest support ongoing programs aimed at total value locked, usage, and protocol adoption. Optimism, an Ethereum Layer-2 rollup, launched a Quest campaign to drive the discovery of new applications, mint 3.4 million NFTs, increase Optimism usage by 50%, and double the number of daily unique transacting wallets.

Gravity Tech Updates
In 2025, Gravity’s engineering work focused on making the Gravity SDK production-ready and preparing the chain for real-time, growth-oriented workloads. The SDK is now feature complete across four core areas:
Account and payment: Native Oracle and x402 infrastructure provides identity, authentication, and request-level payment across chains.
Networking and consensus: An Aptos Validator Full Node-inspired design ensures that full nodes remain tightly synchronized with validators, maintaining low finality latency.
Randomness: A Distributed Key Generation and PREVRANDAO system delivers secure onchain randomness exposed through EIP-4399 semantics.
Execution and storage: The Reth execution client is integrated with RocksDB to alleviate MDBX write bottlenecks and sustain performance at large state sizes.
These improvements sit on top of Reth, the Rust-based Ethereum execution client developed by the research investment firm Paradigm, which Gravity uses as its core client. The Gravity team maintains Gravity Reth, a performance-focused fork that has achieved roughly 1.5 to 1.9 gigagas per second in benchmarking, which translates to approximately 1.5 to 1.9 billion gas units processed per second. The Paradigm team has publicly highlighted Gravity’s work as materially strengthening Reth’s open-source node SDK, reinforcing that these optimizations benefit the broader EVM ecosystem. This demonstrates high throughput on ERC-20 workloads and utilizes that work to drive upstream client improvements. Notable contributions to Reth include:
Adding a batch validation interface to enable parallel transaction validation (#16189)
Reducing transaction pool contention by returning lightweight counts (#17392)
Removing box operations and shrinking critical sections to lower overhead (#16159)
The next major milestone is native RocksDB integration with a parallel storage schema designed for very large account sets and sustained high throughput at scale, tracked under issue #19008. Combined with the mature SDK and upstream Reth contributions, this work positions Gravity as an actively engineered execution layer pushing the EVM performance frontier while underpinning Galxe’s growth, identity, and distribution stack.
Closing Summary
Galxe’s 2025 execution marks a shift from campaign front-end to full growth infrastructure, with a purpose-built chain underneath. By unifying Quest, Earndrop, Starboard, Passport, Score, and Gravity into a single platform, Galxe lets ecosystems run multichain programs with shared identity, Sybil controls, and analytics, while offloading token distribution complexity to Earndrop. Starboard adds an intelligence layer on top, allowing teams to prioritize impact over raw activity by tying social dynamics and contributor profiles directly to onchain behavior and capital flows. Growing adoption by partner projects suggests that Galxe is already being used as infrastructure for ecosystem-level growth programs.
This strategy, however, raises the bar for Gravity’s execution. Building and maintaining a dedicated EVM environment, a feature-complete SDK, and a performance-focused Reth fork signals a commitment to owning the performance and reliability envelope required for growth workloads. If Gravity continues to harden its infrastructure, scale throughput, and stay aligned with product needs, Galxe is positioned to remain a central coordination layer for user acquisition, engagement, and token distribution in crypto. The key variables ahead are how effectively the team scales Business+, deepens Starboard’s analytics, and proves that Gravity can deliver real-time performance and resilience through the next cycle of ecosystem growth.
