Ethereum’s transaction volume is down 40% in a year

Ethereum's ($ETH) transaction volume is down 40% from $1.24 billion on June 21, 2018 to $743 million on June 21, 2019, according to Coin Metrics data reviewed by Long Hash. Daily transfer counts remain static a year on at 420,000 with twice the daily interactions of Bitcoin ($BTC), although most use cases are ascribed to dApps or stablecoins like Dai ($DAI). Ethereum remains down 60% against Bitcoin year-to-date.
