EOS holders vote to reduce the annual inflation from 5% to 1%

EOS ($EOS) will lower its 5% inflation rate to 1% June 1st following a network vote. The set 5% rate had 4% go to the eosio.savings account and 1% to block producers for network maintenance. After eight months with no defined use for the account, EOS staking accounts have unanimously voted to turn off the tap.
