The deal expands Fireblocks’ infrastructure beyond custody and transaction security into audit-ready financial operations. The acquisition integrates TRES’s accounting, compliance, and ERP connectivity with Fireblocks’ secure asset management stack, addressing growing regulatory and reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
The Tie acquired Stakin
The TieacquiredStakin, an institutional-grade staking provider with $1.5 billion in assets under delegation and a seven-year operating history. The acquisition marks The Tie’s entry into digital asset infrastructure and establishes staking as a new business line alongside its market intelligence, compliant communications, and corporate access offerings. By integrating Stakin’s staking capabilities into its institutional platform, The Tie aims to position staking as an on-ramp into a broader suite of data, access, and workflow solutions for institutional clients.
Coincheck acquired 3iQ for $112 million
Coincheck entered into an agreement to acquire up to 100% of 3iQ, a Canada-based digital asset investment manager, in a stock transaction valuing 3iQ at approximately $112 million. The acquisition adds 3iQ’s regulated ETFs, staking products, and managed account platform to Coincheck Group’s expanding institutional footprint, following its recent acquisitions in prime brokerage and staking services as part of a broader global expansion strategy.
