Conduit Integrations - Enhancing OP Stack RaaS

Rollups-as-a-Service (RaaS) provider Conduit aims to be the go-to infrastructure provider to deploy rollups using the OP Stack without technical know-how or management. Many RaaS providers have gone the general purpose route, like Caldera and Vistara, allowing teams to launch rollups using any framework. The end game for most providers is a fully agnostic RaaS solution spanning execution environments, rollup type (optimistic or zk), sequencers, as well as which modules to plug into for settlement, consensus, and data availability. A general-purpose solution may have further reach, but it requires the RaaS provider to handle all of the complexities of each rollup framework and ecosystem. Conduit is taking the opposite approach by championing one particular development framework.

Thus far, Conduit has supported a number of popular projects to deploy Ethereum L2s using the OP Stack, including Zora and Gitcoin’s Public Goods Network (PGN). Both have seen steady growth since their launch, with Zora boasting over 225,000 unique addresses gained over its close to 2-month history and PGN approaching 4,000 since the end of July.

With the recent introduction of Integrations, Conduit is enhancing its rollup management services by connecting its clients with other crucial infrastructure projects, such as the zk coprocessor Axiom, and bridging solutions like Synapse, Axelar, and Connext.

While the exact details of the onboarding process for integrations are unknown, Conduit intends to streamline this process as an additional service for its existing clients. An indirect result of this initiative is that deploying an OP Stack rollup will become even more intuitive for prospective developers, incentivizing the deployment of more rollups using the stack. Rollup frameworks that collaborate with dedicated RaaS providers are poised for increased growth as RaaS providers simplify rollup deployment on their behalf.
