📧 Bitfinex CEO tells customers the NYAG lawsuit is “filled with inaccuracies and false assertions”
In an email to Bitfinex traders, CEO Jean Louis van der Velde says Tether ($USDT) and Bitfinex are fully co-operating with authorities while maintaining that the NYAG lawsuit filling was fallacious and factually incorrect. Van der Velde states that the $850 million allegedly 'lost' funds have been seized and are currently safeguarded by Polish, Portuguese, US, and UK authorities to which Bitfinex is using "clear, coherent, and convincing arguments" to procure.
