🌏 Australia doubles Down on Digital Surveillance, Gets Its First Monero-Based Nonprofit

The Loki Foundation, a non-profit focused on addressing governmental privacy intrusion in Australia, filed as a charity April 3rd. The Monero based software allows users to transact and communicate around prying eyes. Loki chose to go non-profit and make its software open-source to further protect members or the software itself from government interference, a direct response to Dec. 2018's telecommunications act which furthered law enforcement reach over personal digital devices.
