[Analysis] Cosmos will have 3 coding languages. Here’s why that matters for Ethereum - Christine Kim

As competition for Ethereum ($ETH) continues to intensify, Cosmos ($ATOM) is taking aim at Ethereum's blockchain dominance for smart contract development by introducing 3 coding languages into it's protocol development. CoinDesk's Christine Kim explains why this is an important edge for Cosmos to compete with Ethereum. The first language, Ethermint, is a direct replicat of Ethereum's Solidity language. The second, Secure EcmaScript (SES), is a version of JavaScript built for smart contract development. And the third is a version of the PACT language built buy JP Morgan spinoff blockchain Kadena. In summary, Kim explains:

The new competitors differ from Solidity by placing a stronger emphasis on security as opposed to immutability and unstoppability.
