YuzuSwap is a decentralized exchange on the Oasis Emerald paratime that includes incentives like liquidity and trade mining. YuzuSwap follows a non-custodial peer to peer, automated market maker model. The goal of YuzuSwap is to provide a safe, swift, low cost tool to discover and swap tokens within the Oasis ecosystem.

History

In the fall of 2021 (October) the idea of building a decentralized exchange on the Oasis blockchain was initially discussed by the anonymous founders. That eventually led to a $2M seed round with 7 investors on Dec 16, 2021. On January 11th 2022 the YuzuSwap DEX was launched on the Oasis blockchain, specifically the Oasis Emerald paratime. Within 72 hours of launch they had over $120M in TVL and within a month YuzuSwap had over 1B in trade volume. The highlights of this DEX are:

1. No pre-mine (fair launch)
2. Trade mining (receive a token TPST) for trading on their platform.
3. Liquidity mining (stake your token to provide liquidity and earn)
4. 0.24% (80% of the 0.3% transaction fee) This goes to a buyback smart contract which will start buying back token if price drops below 72 hour average and sends to a blackhole address
5. 0.06% (20% of the 0.3% transaction fee) goes to a DAO vault. The DAO is planned to launch in Q3 of 2022 but the DAO wallet is not publicly available at this time.
6. YuzuSwap has high composability and can be integrated into any project on the Oasis blockchain.
