Archblock (formerly known as TrustToken) is a financial technology firm providing stablecoins and an on-chain marketplace for asset managers and institutional investors. It offers a stablecoin issuance platform and supports on-chain credit opportunities to improve global liquidity and investment efficiency.
TrustToken is a smart contract tokenization protocol designed to enable the secure representation and transfer of real-world assets (e.g. real estate, patents, copyrights, art, private equity, commodities) and provide an interface for transparent management of these assets by existing fiduciaries. Tokens behave like shares in ownership of a real-world asset with legally enforceable rights and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions with extra transparency afforded to the token holder.
TrustToken is also building a an ERC20 token (“TRU”) to use as collateral by fiduciaries who manage tokenized assets and verifiers who inspect the quality of the underlying assets. The first successful asset implemented on the TrustToken platform is TrueUSD, a U.S. dollar-back stablecoin.
