Touriva has a blockchain-based application that aims to connect travelers looking for a place to stay with potential hosts. Users will pay for this "decentralized Air BnB" like service in Touriva's native cryptocurrency, TOUR. Touriva's primary app and TOUR token run on the Touriva blockchain, which a Dash-based network that uses Proof-of-Work (PoW) with the support of masternodes.

History

Touriva is based in Dubai's commodity trading district, which is managed by the DMCC. The DMCC is currently setting up a crypto-currency incubation and acceleration scheme. Touriva was conceived and founded with this in mind and with the aim of Touriva tokens being a token traded within the DMCC crypto space.
