Tokens.net is a crypto-to-crypto trading platform. Exchange trading fees are paid in the platform’s native exchange token, Dynamic Trading Rights (DTR). A fixed percentage of the DTR used to pay for that day’s trading is burned Every new listing on tokens.net is voted by the community.

History

The Token.net and DTR whitepaper was published on October 29, 2017. The underlying idea of the project is to establish an exchange that has provable trading volume. 100% of the trading fees collected from market takers are used to market buy and burn DTR daily. Burn events are listed here.

The project is headed by Damian Merlak, who previously co-founded Bitstamp. Following a token crowdsale in Nov. 2017, the Tokens.net beta trading launch launched on Apr. 27, 2018. Its exchange was later released to the public on Jul 31, 2018.

The platform and trading engine now feature a market making bot, loans, and a mobile app, among other add-ons.
