History

Skycoin is a blockchain protocol designed to support rapid development of Web 3.0 applications. The Skycoin blockchain aims to solve issues perceived as problems by the Skycoin team with Internet neutrality and blockchain Proof-of-Work consensus Skycoin was developed and deployed by the Skycoin Foundation that simultaneously built a suit of other tools (e.g., Skywire, Fiber) to complement the Skycoin ecosystem with the native SKY circulating asset.
