ScPrime is a decentralized S3 storage project primarily for business users. The chain uses ASIC driven Proof of Work for consensus that produces a utility coin called SCP. At ScPrime, businesses use the network through a public service called Xa Net Services or XNS. Customers do not purchase or interface with cryptocurrency at all.

History

Blockchain fork, but restarted from genesis, new client stack written with new goals/customers/vision. ScPrime is a Distributed Datacenter for Enterprise grade backup and disaster recovery. Blockchain is used to decrease friction in paying storage providers, SCP, Corp will market/sell the product. Product is currently in beta with release scheduled for Q2 of 2021
