Ramses is a DEX and AMM built on the Arbitrum network. It combines the architecture of Uniswap v3 with custom incentives, vote-lock governance, and enhanced user experience. Key features include veNFTs for governance and a council for emergency decision-making.
Ramses Exchange was launched on Arbitrum as a ve(3,3) DEX, inheriting and revitalizing core concepts from Andre Cronje's Solidly protocol. The team publicly positioned the protocol as correcting Solidly's strategic shifts.
In March 2023, LiquidDriver announced a partnership with RAMSES, a ve(3,3) DEX on the Arbitrum network. RAMSES, inspired by Andre Cronje’s Solidly, focuses on community, decentralization, and functionality, offering veNFTs to top protocols on Arbitrum. Furthermore, DEUS partnered with Ramses to enhance P2P trading infrastructure and liquidity within the Arbitrum ecosystem. Ramses, inspired by Andre Cronje’s Solidly platform, aims to attract deep liquidity, offering low-slippage swaps for traders and rewarding liquidity providers with $RAM tokens.
By June 2023, PaintSwap also partnered with Ramses to enhance the user experience for NFT and fNFT enthusiasts. By September 2023, Ramses shipped two full front-end overhauls and introduced concentrated liquidity infrastructure with bribe mechanisms, positioning it as a best-in-class volume-to-TVL efficiency DEX. The protocol onboarded 40+ ecosystem partners, including Alchemix, FRAX, Liquity, GAMMA, and Radiant Capital.
In October 2023, the team successfully secured STIP Round 1 grants from Arbitrum Foundation, allocating 100% toward ecosystem incentives and partner support (zero for operations or team compensation), signaling ecosystem-aligned governance.
Entering 2024, Ramses solidified its governance and advisory structure. In January, it integrated Axelar interchain tokens, welcoming assets like AnyInuCoin to broaden trading pairs. March saw the onboarding of Alexander Vanny (@wagmiAlexander), co-founder of Velodrome and Aerodrome, as a key advisor to guide ve(3,3) evolutions.
Q2 delivered a comprehensive development update, including cross-kingdom upgrades for Pharaoh, Cleo, and Nile deployments, focusing on user onboarding and V3 roadmap milestones like enhanced analytics. July deepened oracle integrations via a partnership with DIA, incorporating Ramses as a data source for robust price feeds to combat manipulation risks.
By July 2025, Ramses expanded beyond Arbitrum with its deployment on HyperEVM, Hyperliquid's high-throughput L1, introducing liquid emissions without vesting, JIT attack defenses, and an RXP points system for early adopters - differentiating it from prior forks while maintaining x(3,3) foundations like xRAM conversions and r33 liquid staking.
In October 2025, Ramses announced a major 20% token supply airdrop for Hypurr NFT holders, teasing the largest on-chain NFT distribution to reward community loyalty. Furthermore, November kicked off with the TGE for $RAM, enabling governance, staking for veRAM, and revenue sharing, with initial listings on Arbitrum DEXs at around $0.018 and predictions reaching $0.050 amid $7.5M TVL highs.
An airdrop campaign distributed ~168.8M tokens (20% supply) based on liquidity provision and engagement, followed by Part 2 on November 26 targeting communities like Hypio Babies, Illumeownati, and PiP & Friends. Q3 enhancements included a ve(3,3) governance dashboard and liquidity analytics suite, while Q4 focused on multi-chain expansions and DEX optimizations. Recent UI upgrades added integrated price charts for custom token pairs and automated big/small block switching for efficient transactions on HyperEVM.
