PerlinX is a decentralized platform facilitating the trading of real-world assets through liquidity pools and synthetic asset generation. Users can stake PERL tokens to provide liquidity and earn rewards, as well as over-collateralize PERL to create synthetic assets such as pxOil, pxCarbon, and pxGold.
In May 2018 the paper "Snowflake to Avalanche: A Novel Metastable Consensus Protocol Family for Cryptocurrencies" was published by anonymous Team Rocket. In the paper was described the brand new consensus protocol called Avalanche, that is claimed to be Sybil-resistant with high throughput. Team Rocket is in the process of developing own protocol in Avalanche Project with Emin Gün Sirer, but there is no information excepting the paper. However, Perlin implemented Avalanche consensus to their DAG-based platform for cloud computing.
