History

Nike filed to trademark "cryptokicks" in April 2019, which was an effort described as "trademark speak for 'this is a cryptocurrency called Cryptokicks.'" Besides the application, no public information is available about the project. But Nike's application describes a digital currency (similar to existing cryptocurrencies) used for an online marketplace for Nike products and an exclusive member website.
