JamaiCoin aims to lower the costs of remittance and automate the funding of local charities by means of smart contracts and community voting.
JamaiCoin will be used in a remittance focused payment app, to be released in 2020 in Jamaica and later to be rolled out across the Caribbean and South America. Every month 10000 YAH will automatically be sent to a local non-profit charity. The destination is decided in a community vote, where YAH holders pick their favorite charity.
