Integral is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that specializes in Time Weighted Average Price (TWAP) trading on the Ethereum and Arbitrum blockchains. Their DEX allows traders to execute trades with a 30-minute time-weighted average price, reducing price impact and providing a more efficient trading experience. Integral's TWAP trading eliminates price impact on any order size for any available token pair, providing traders with a cost-effective solution for executing large orders in the DeFi space.
Integral launched in 2021 to tackle the problem of liquidity fragmentation running deep on DeFi. Integral offers concentrated liquidity on single pools as a solution and allows traders to benefit from the same execution capabilities as the top exchanges and trading desks through mirroring liquidity on these platforms.
Integral launched its first product on the issue and the related farming pool on Mar. 29, 2021. The project was initiated by Jamie E. Young with a team of nine, but the team envisions a full migration towards the Integral DAO and thus materialize their vision of Integral Resistance.
Integral Resistance is actively funded by the community through its Gitcoin grant. Apart from approximately $60,000 collected through the platform, the project ran a public seed round at the end of April 2021 to fund future development and further product adoption. Aligning with these targets, Integral launched a trading challenge on Jul. 29, 2021 through which a percentage of previously allocated ITGR tokens will be distributed to the traders.
