Gluwa operates a decentralized platform connecting global capital with investment opportunities in emerging markets. Gluwa’s solutions include a non-custodial crypto wallet, digital payments, and blockchain infrastructure to help the underbanked access financial services.
Gluwa was founded in 2017 with the mission to use blockchain technology to drive global financial inclusion and unlock borderless financial infrastructure for underserved populations. In 2019, the company built and launched the Creditcoin blockchain (L1) and the decentralized satellite internet project Spacecoin, progressively expanding its ecosystem and technological offerings. Over the years, Gluwa formed high-impact partnerships and piloted digital and financial inclusion initiatives across Africa, including strategic collaborations with the governments and leadership of Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.
Throughout 2023 and 2024, Gluwa launched grassroots technology training and outsourcing programs with the Nigerian government to empower youth through blockchain and AI skills, while its leadership also advocated for a borderless financial system at key events such as the UN General Assembly ("Destination 2030: Nigeria Everywhere").
In March 2024, Gluwa announced a landmark partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria, becoming an official eNaira Partner Agent and helping drive adoption of Nigeria’s Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) for greater financial inclusion and digital economic opportunities for over 200 million people.
In August 2025, Gluwa has partnered with cybersecurity firm Theori to enhance security across its ecosystem, including the Creditcoin blockchain, CTC token, smart contracts, and the Spacecoin satellite internet project.
