Game Informer is a longstanding video game magazine that provides news, reviews, previews, and features on video games and consoles. Established in August 1991, it became one of the most widely read gaming publications in the United States. In August 2024, GameStop, the magazine's owner at the time, abruptly shut down Game Informer, laying off its entire staff and ceasing both print and digital operations.
