FirstBlood is a decentralized eSports platform utilizing the power of smart contracts.

History

After a successful ICO in September of 2016, FirstBlood released the beta application in 2017 and has since amassed almost 50,000 registered players in the FirstBlood Platform, with over 1,500 tournaments played. In Q4 2019, they will launch the mainnet platform and token rebrand. FirstBlood is looking to connect a global pool of gamers and offer a decentralized platform to compete in popular esports games to earn prizes in a trustless ecosystem.

In April of 2020, FirstBlood launched the Dawn blockchain platform which is built on the Cosmos Network. All existing 1ST token holders were required to exchange their token for Dawn tokens. FirstBlood currently uses a company controlled points system called xPoints and xCredits for its platform, but plans to switch to Dawn tokens in the future.
