Echelon Prime is a blockchain-focused organization supporting a decentralized gaming ecosystem. It provides the PRIME token and Web3 tools for game developers, facilitating resource allocation and governance within a community-led environment.

History

Echelon Prime Foundation was founded in January 2022. Based on a commercially reasonable search, the founding project team members of Echelon could not be identified; however, it is inferred that the founding entity behind Echelon is Parallel Studios. Subsequent to the project’s launch, 11 pseudonym “leaders” (known as Emissary Primes) were elected “to run the foundation and determine [the project’s] future beyond.” Echelon Prime Foundation conducts annual elections and, as of Feb. 15, 2024, the total number of Emissary Primes has been reduced to nine members. Echelon Prime’s vision is “to construct a sustainable and scalable game development platform that inspires players to contribute and builders to create.”

Notable milestones in the history of Echelon’s development include:

• In February 2022, Echelon held its annual Emissary Prime election and elected 11 EPs.
• In September 2022, Echelon’s Governance became available.
• In March 2023, Echelon held its annual Emissary Prime election and elected nine EPs.
• In April 2023, Parallel TCG closed beta launched.
• In June 2023, Parallel announced Colony, an AI-agent-enabled multiplayer game (in development).
• In December 2023, Parallel TCG’s marketplace, Sanctuary, launched on Base.
