History

ChatAndBuild was officially founded as ChatAndBuild PTE. LTD. on April 11, 2025, in Singapore. The company was established by Christel Buchanan (also known as Christel Quek), who serves as Founder and CEO, and has positioned the platform at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and no-code development.

The platform was publicly launched in May 2025, and the team saw immediate adoption, with over 150K users worldwide signing up within months.

In October, the company hosted its first global builder summit, Codechella, in Singapore, featuring a fireside chat between ChatAndBuild's Ladyxtel and OpenAI's Thomas Jeng on the future of AI ownership and NFAs.

In November, the "Understanding ChatAndBuild: A Comprehensive Overview" research by Messari was released, spotlighting ChatAndBuild's NFA economy and BAP-578 token standard as a "game-changing" evolution in crypto experimentation.
