Bitcore is something like a hybrid fork and airdrop that Bitcoin developer Jimmy Song calls “the most clever of the hard forks.” The development team, which claims the cryptocurrency is more of a “lifestyle” than a currency advertises the protocol as “a complete, native interface to the Bitcoin network, and provides the core functionality needed to develop apps for bitcoin.”
