Augmint is a platform for creating tokens that represent fully-collatoralized assets, primarily stablecoins backed by fiat currencies. Augmint aims to create a "digital pair" between tokens and fiat with a one-to-one exchange rate target maintained by the protocol's smart contract mechanisms. The project was launched to offer an asset aimed at stability in a classically volatile crypto space.
