Auctus is a decentralized non-custodial options protocol built on top of Ethereum that allows users to mint and exercise call or put options, in a trustless and decentralized manner without having to rely on a third party.
Each option series is integrated through an ACOToken contract, which is ERC20-compliant, making options transferable, fungible, and ready for further DeFi integrations.
In May of 2020 the Auctus options protocol went live. Four months later it supassed $1mm in TVL. In Q3/4 2020, Auctus went on to launch its options AMM, released its new token model, and launched options OTC.
The team is looking to improve liquidity, collateral capital efficiency, and data visualization in 2021, as well as integrate Auctus options into the wider DeFi ecosystem in 2021 and beyond.
