DoubleZero is a permissionless networking framework where independent infrastructure providers contribute dedicated bandwidth, DoubleZero Device hardware, and distributed-system operators connect hosts through DoubleZero. The network supports multicast delivery, user lookup, telemetry, and edge filtration, and uses exchanges (DZX) as interconnect points between contributors. Users are organized as tenants with connection paths for specific ecosystems, including Solana validator and RPC operators. Network services and routing policies are coordinated through onchain smart contracts and controller and activator services that distribute configuration to devices.
