Zooko Wilcox, the founder and CEO of ZCash ($ZEC), is facing more criticism for how much money he is making as a result of the cryptocurrency's rewards system. 20% of ZCash issuance goes to funding ecosystem development, with the remaining 80% reserved for miners. Mr. Wilcox personally receives 2,033 ZEC per month (0.9% of total issuance), or over $4.8 million per year at today's prices.
