⛽ WSJ identifies $825 million worth of trades linked to pump-and-dump groups

A Wall Street Journal investigation identified 175 pump-and-dump schemes used on 121 cryptoassets during the first six months of 2018. These trades accounted for $825 million in trading volume on exchanges during that period. The largest group identified by the Journal was Big Pump Signal which counts 74,000 users among its members on Telegram.
